OUR STORY
When the original founders of Memory Opticians established the business in 1982, they wanted the freedom to create a unique patient experience that would deliver quality of care across the eye examination, vision correction and glasses selection. They aimed to provide quality service tailored to the individual needs of each patient, delivered in a beautiful environment. In short, they wanted the experience to be positive and memorable.
Over the last 37 years, Memory Opticians has been caring for people in Amesbury, Salisbury and surrounding areas. Our diverse client list includes three generations of several families, and numerous corporate clients. We test the eyes of army personnel, fast jet pilots and Apache helicopter pilots, all of whom need crystal-clear vision for their demanding careers.
The values the original owners instilled into the business all those years ago are still being followed, under the ownership of Managing Partner Katie Memory and Optometrists Martin Memory and Simon Small. We continue to combine expert optical knowledge with high standards of care, to ensure your vision and health is optimised. Now, as then, we provide a range of eyewear solutions that help you to see clearly while also making you look great and feel amazing – to See and Be Seen.
