Memory Opticians Nominated for National Award

Memory Opticians have been nominated for a national award in recognition of their high standard of customer service.

The practice, in Salisbury and Amesbury, were one of four finalists for the Customer Service Excellence Award category of the national SightCare Awards 2019.

This is the second time this year that Memory have made the final for a Customer Service award, following their nomination at the South Wilts Business of the Year Awards in June.

The SightCare Awards recognise the best independent opticians from across the UK.

The Customer Service Excellence Award rewards businesses that can demonstrate what special measures it has implemented towards achieving outstanding customer service, satisfaction levels and evidence of strong customer loyalty.

Established in 1982, the family business has been delivering a high standard of care from their locations in Salisbury and Amesbury ever since.

Katie Memory, Director and Managing Partner of Memory Opticians, said: “Excellent customer service is something we discuss every day, but it takes the hard work of our practice team to apply it and they’re always so engaged in achieving this on a daily basis.

“We’ve always said that if you look after the customer, the practice will look after itself, so we’re delighted that the commitment that our team members have made to this has been recognised.

“To be nominated on a national level is something we’re really proud of, alongside other independent practices like ourselves.

“As an independent practice we can provide a much higher standard of customer care, where it’s not a conveyor belt experience, rather a thorough and dedicated eye care service.”
